I remember the feeling of being a non-lifter very well, so no. I think if I did it, then anyone who isn't crippled can. I've also realized that all my old "well I'm smart and use my brain, I don't need to be atheletic" was pure cope, so I want others to realize it and join me in the light. Non-athletes don't understand how much it changes you, I really believe that everyone needs to find something that pushes them to their physical limit. Doesn't have to be lifting, but if you don't have that in some form, you don't truly know yourself and you don't fully appreciate the breadth of human experience.
I feel this hard. After losing a ton of weight and seeing how simple it really is, I have so much less respect for my fat coworkers. Kinda sad honestly cause I think either they have some depressing shit in their life that guides them to over eat or they are just weak willed.
The saddest part is somehow people don’t know how to lose weight. Like they KNOW they have to eat less but that’s such a vague way to say it. The specifics of how many calories and how long it could realistically take are unknown to most normies. But even if they did know they still wouldn’t have the will power.
I don't feel superior but I have a tendency to look at people without any semblance of muscle and innately think of them as a bit pathetic. I don't even like it, it's just an aspect of me that's developed somehow. I only started lifting for health and weight loss.
Yes. When I'm at the bar and see some wannabe alpha but he weighs 160 soaking wet I imagine him struggling to bench 185 measly pounds (and it's true) and I am immediately above him in every way (I bench 315 for reps)
>lanket pulls out weapon >shanks/shoots you when you step up to him for being a hulking threat >gets off because he says you were assaulting him
good luck with that mentality, anon
That makes no sense, yes you see more fitness related shit and people lifting on your online media because facebook/ig/snap/whatever knows thats what you wanna see and probably makes you think everybody is lifting now.
Humans are getting fatter every day >In fact, in 2020, more than 2 billion adults (39% of the adult global population) were overweight (BMI > 25). Of these, over 600 million were obese (BMI > 30). In Europe, more than half the population is overweight (BMI > 25) and up to 30% is obese (BMI > 30).
This is very true. I've been going to the same gym for 3 years and I've seen basically no new regulars in that time. And all the zoomers have the summer off right now, so they should be all over the gym if it was as popular as social media makes you think.
Not really but I feel confident in the fact that I am on even level with them even if they may have other things going for them. I also believe humbleness in the way you perceive yourself without undervaluing yourself and at least making an attempt at seeing everyone on eye level goes a long way. It's how I manage to always have respectful interactions with everyone and why a lot of people appreciate me.
>I need an extra hour of video games/tv/social media a day, no time for gym
If you dont engage in some sort of physical activity most days of the week youre a fucking lazy piece of shit so yes
I feel superior to people who don't exercise. Not everyone has to lift, but if you don't regularly do some athletic ability you are pathetic. I definitely consider people who practice actual sports superior to people who lift exclusively, provided they train an equal amount and have similarly strict diets
>Make derisive comments about my lifting "obsession" >Keep heavy yard work handy for when I come to visit because no one else can carry large rocks and paving slabs
Just by standing up from the couch you are lifting up more than half the population will ever squat so in theory, you are lifting weight, just your own bodyweight.
No not really that's a noob lifter mindset. I have my gym bros and then I have my other homies who have no interest in lifting weights and I dont feel superior to them they are still gangster as fuck. I feel superior to people who have nothing whatsoever going on for them.
Feel? I AM superior to nonlifters.
natty dyels are the naggers of the human race
what did he mean by this
i think he means they arent human
then…what are they
I think you know the answer to that, don't you now
pic not rel
i feel superior to people i have a better face than
If someone still exercises and generally stays healthy, no. If they're numales or overweight without trying, then yes.

Even Confucius recognized this thousands of years ago, when he said that training your mind alone wasn't enough, you have to exercise your body too.
No but that’s because I haven’t made it yet
No, but as a former fat "person", I do feel superior to fat "people".
I feel this hard. After losing a ton of weight and seeing how simple it really is, I have so much less respect for my fat coworkers. Kinda sad honestly cause I think either they have some depressing shit in their life that guides them to over eat or they are just weak willed.

Depends on their race.
I don't feel superior but I have a tendency to look at people without any semblance of muscle and innately think of them as a bit pathetic. I don't even like it, it's just an aspect of me that's developed somehow. I only started lifting for health and weight loss.
no because I'm a manlet, skinny tall dyels still mog me routinely.
I feel bad for people who don’t regularly participate in at least one physical activity regularly. They’re missing out on so much.
Yes. When I'm at the bar and see some wannabe alpha but he weighs 160 soaking wet I imagine him struggling to bench 185 measly pounds (and it's true) and I am immediately above him in every way (I bench 315 for reps)
I really hope you don't see yourself as being better than somebody in EVERY way just because you can lift more.
If I am able to rip your head off and there's nothing you can do about it, yes. I am above you in every way
>lanket pulls out weapon
>shanks/shoots you when you step up to him for being a hulking threat

Cool imaginary situation to cope with being a sub 1.5pl8 DYEL lmao
haha yeah, lifting weights means you'll be able to 'rip' someones head off. People like you are the ones who end up dead from one punch.
It was a figure of speech. But not surprised some autistic ESL DYEL got triggered by the post lmao.
>nothing you can do about it
Do you know what guns and knives are?
I feel superior to most people regardless of their height, income or aesthetics. It's just a product of not being able to be anyone except me.
Lifting is so popular now that you feel more special when you don't lift
>Lifting is so popular now
Good.
>you feel more special when you don't lift
No.

Drinking water is too popular, it's not cool anymore
>Most people are in shape now, i feel special being out of shape
no, and you shouldn't
>these days it’s more like NOT having a tattoo is the “alternative” thing to do!
Yep.
no because they have something I never will, being a normal person.
No, there is more to life than just lifting. People who refuse to take care of their bodies disappoint me though.
I try not to. In the end theres a billion people who have every reason to look down on me, so why lookdown on others?
Not really but I feel confident in the fact that I am on even level with them even if they may have other things going for them. No because I'm short and they still mog me even without ever going to the gym
>I need an extra hour of video games/tv/social media a day, no time for gym
If you dont engage in some sort of physical activity most days of the week youre a fucking lazy piece of shit so yes
i don't feel anything.
I feel superior to people who don't exercise. Not everyone has to lift, but if you don't regularly do some athletic ability you are pathetic. Family and friends are so goofy.
>lifting their heavy shit for free when they make fun of you
Cuck
Next time they talk shit bring it up.
I feel superior to everyone.
Yes but I feel inferior to people taller than me, even when they're complete dyels
Yes but not because I lift, I don't
