Not anything more than stabilizing you. Squats don't grow the calves at all

Maybe for you, calves are genetic muscles

      This is correct

just do 1000 bw calf raises twice a week. less than 20 minutes of work

Ive done upwards of 100 bw calf raises and they were not effective and 100 is pretty easy and most beginner will be able to achieve either immedietly or within a month. If you want to, you stand on something to create a decline for your heal and do 1 ankle at a time but youd be better off doing plyo weights

Not him but for months I used to do 100 calf raises every day in the shower and it did nothing for me. Cycling grew my calves the most

    Here's an idea

    How about

    1. Cut Squats out of your routine
    2. Do a Quad-Dominant exercise like a Leg Press
    3. Do a Hamstring Isolation like a Lying Leg Curl
    4. Do a Calf muscle isolation exercise (Standing and Seated Calf Raises)
    5. Maybe throw in some Hack-Squats on the machine

This is how you grow, none of that "MUH SQUATS AND DEADLIFTS" crap that people spent the entire 2010s parroting because they read up on some retarded fat moronic strengthcel powershart theories

There is nothing wrong with throwing in a few sets of calves after squat day

How? Calves is a fairly low effort and low recovery isolation to do.

You don't even know the rest of the routine... just squats and calf raises with leg extension and ham curls is too much? I'm natty and I get a a decent Doms that is gone in 3 days for my next leg day. So basically, you're wrong.
