Its being pulled too much by: >lats >chest >front mid read rear delts
Fix your posture with abs, neck, and back shit too my shoulders get clapped on ohp unless i bring my ribcage forward elbow positionimg is not as important as joint alignment.
>t. doesn't keep his arms at a 45 degree angle >t. brings the weights down way too low
If you do flys safely they're one of the best chest exercises you can ask for.
People mistakenly believed it hammered the pecs because of the feeling that it's pulling your chest apart. Nobody serious has believed that in the last 15 years and nobody does these anymore but retards.
>any hard workout >increases risk of injury >completely unnecessary to live a full life >only light cardio and good diet required
its funny how dyels pick and choose whats good when its all pointless in life
they are great but not really a mass builder. doing them at the end of your workout once you did your heavy benching is fine and dandy if want to end your chest day with a murder pump.
this exercise is fucking incredible if you do it on a machine. you can even avoid elbow strain by using your inner forearm instead of the holding bars against the pads, depending on the machine. absolutely shreds your pecs and front delts.
dumbbell flyes on the other hand are atrocious, despite being the "same" exercise the instability of the dumbbell and the disadvantaged mechanical position you're in kills your ability to exert maximal force, makes you waste tons of energy on stabilizing the weights and requires you to go reasonably heavy which is always bad with db's. just atrocious, 2/10 would not do again.
seriously though if you have a machine you can do these at with some serious weight it's probably the second best chest workout you can get, only benching is better.
no seriously how do i fix my left shoulder

>destroys your lower back
>lethal if you fuck up when you start reaching serious weights
>makes you look like a fucking t-rex
Forgot pic
It's ok I knew you were talking about squats.
It has less Chest activation than Flat DB Press.
I fell for Flyes meme for many years and almost fucked up my entire arm when I went too heavy.

>45% angle
Pure bro science
>t. brings the weights down way too low
The whole point of the "exercise" is to stretch your pecs.
Do dips for that, close grip bench and cable flies are for the inside.
cable flys are infinitely better and safer than dumbbell flies.
>literally kills you and rape your corpse
People still do this shit exercise, unbelievable.

I am doing floor flies at the end of my chest day, right after regular bench press and incline db press. AMA
I super set mine after pendlay rows. pretty good 10/10 would recommend.
People mistakenly believed it hammered the pecs because of the feeling that it's pulling your chest apart. Nobody serious has believed that in the last 15 years and nobody does these anymore but retards.
Yeah cables and pec deck mog
>gives you herniated disc
Just place both feet on the floor
Herniates more than just discs. Jeff Cavalier talks about how this exercise gave him an inguinal hernia
Only because he was being black minded by one foot on the bench and one foot on the ground
It's great for that hugging motion like how you freaks hug your blow up dolls
Do them on the floor, retardbro
but then again, you miss out on those precious stretch gains
still sucks

>Light cardio is the only way you use muscle
Hahahaha
>missing the point
>thinking muscle is needed in life
>doing these instead of cable or pec dec
Why are boomers so retarded?
Do floor dumbbell flyes...?
they are great but not really a mass builder. doing them at the end of your workout once you did your heavy benching is fine and dandy if want to end your chest day with a murder pump.
>reduce rom by 5٪
>stops using bones and starts using muscles
Wow that was hard
That doesn't work the shoulder dumbass. It works chest
