This. Btw you don't need a modern carbon roadbike and full lycra (although it's probably more comfortable). Just get a nice old steel bike and regular clothes and ride.
thisthisthis. did a morning cycle run about an hour to the near river sat a bit in the sun and rode back. its like butter for the soul. a good amount of cardio and all.

Cycling is my favorite form of exercise. There might not be a better feeling than getting a little high and heading out for a long ride on a good trail.
question are there light roadbikes that use mountain bike rims? I can't seem to keep roadbike or townbike rims straight for more than a month. I'm not fat I just ride rough and sometimes have a lot of cargo.
you should look for a Gravel Bike, they are pretty much the safe geometry of a road bike but with much greater tyre clearance (not sure if you could fit a mountain bike tyre on it, but surely a very close one in width)
Used to ride a bike to work and school when I was 13 which were both a solid 3 miles away.
Then I came to the quick realization this could happen and ended up just walking to both everyday. I would have rather taken an hour long walk than this shit. Never rode a bike since.
Should be legal but have strict laws about riding near pedestrians. Any encounter with a pedestrian should be at a walking pace, with the pedestrian always having right of way.
Where I live it is illegal as well, but most cities don't enforce shit and pedestrians suffer from ebike punks and spandexfags going wild on the pavements.
Anyway, cycling is fun. I use my mountain bike to ride.
Was ready to invest in a solid roadbike but covid hit and I haven't been riding that hard since. I kinda miss it but now I have a dog so all my free time is spend with her. /blog
I commute 10 miles everyday to work. How stupid can you be that you can't turn your head for a couple of seconds before changing lane? Also, if you've cycled long enough like I have, you'd always be alert.
you must be a special one born with eyes behind your head.
Not the other guy but there are traffic laws. You have to ride with traffic and follow the same rules as cars because you are a vehicle traveling on the road.
Yes I've seen a few. But it's mostly because people are reckless. at least in a car I have a metal shield, which is wtv but then again I drive in a city so I'm never going super fast. 80kmh tops, and I'm very careful.
In a bicycle you are way more vulnerable to retarded drivers.
what i like the most about this is that its like staged so the doglady sees everything in perfect clarity and closeup unfolding. she probably got a few spatters on herself.

Thankfully, not gonna happen to me!
a) I'm too paranoid for roads
b) Most cycling routes extend from the pavement where I live, rather than being a part of the street, worst thing that happens are old people still thinking it's all pavement or braindead women on phones walking on the pavement bit while her dog is shitting on the other side, leash across, they're too busy with facebook to notice anything and very butthurt when I make them
c) 2m wide pavements (so most of them) are legal for cyclists here, just cycle slow around people
d) cops and pedestrians don't care when they're narrower, just don't be a retard
Depends where you live. I live by a river with probably 50 miles of riverwalk on small rolling hills. I ride as far and as fast as I want and except for a small part inside the city nobody is in my way. Probably the ideal for road biking.
I hate cyclists. I have a bike too. I ride around on the sidewalk and walk it across crosswalks. If there is someone walking I quickly hit the side of the road and hug the curb until I pass them and hit the sidewalk again. That is the difference between a guy on a bike and a "cyclist" who abuses certain traffic rules for the sake of sticking it to vehicle owners because they are a bunch of goof offs.
The best bit is finding places only a few miles from where you've lived most of your life that you never knew existed.
I want to unlock this power, but I don't know shit about bikes. Is there a certain kind of bike I should get if I'm doing some exploring? Preferably something that would work well in city and woodsy environments like parks?

) is a basic upright commuter/shopping bike. It's not sold as an off-road bike, but there's no problem riding on firm ground like pictured with it. You just wouldn't want to ride it on mud, or do jumps with it.
I can't ride a bycicle, lol. Never learnt that.
Though can you recommend some stationary bicycle? Not pricey and not shitty.
Wanna hit that zone 2 cardio and hiit with comfinness
it has to have bearing on the axles and not steel balls. The seat has to be wide and cushioned, with springs, otherwise your ass will suffer. A portable pump and tire repair kit takes up no space, own it and learn to use it
>The seat has to be wide and cushioned, with springs
No, it has to be as wide as your ischia, and that's about it. You don't want to be resting on your taint or the wider parts of your ass cheeks. Put a gel cover on, if you must.
Its fun. You should consider buying a used bike first and getting it tuned up. Look up a proper bike fit and saddle height or you will end up hating it due to discomfort. There are few things more exhilarating than winding around flowy hill roads at 40 mph on nothing but a couple sticks and some wheels.
People will call you a gay though. Just have to accept it
no
all cyclists die one day
would not do
>just do nothing
>it is impossible
RIP lmfao
Yes. I love cycling so much it's unreal

the ones that like the triangular rim kind frames. Yeah no I fucked those up too.
triangular rim?
what are you talking about?
yes, it's probably the best form of cardio you can do. It's quite safe and easy on your joints,
Bosmer bussy
Nah just blast n cruise

jesus I thought this was longer ago it's felt like ages since I saw this
Holy shit
That's not even a decapitation is it? It's more like everything from the upper back is squashed off. Selling my bike right now.

whenever i get cross at cyclists on the sidewalk i remember shit like this and look the other way
Now why was he not on the sidewalk?
Because it's literally illegal in most countries. Guessing he was a good law-abiding goy.
Should be legal but have strict laws about riding near pedestrians. Any encounter with a pedestrian should be at a walking pace, with the pedestrian always having right of way.

Nobody enforces that road laws you dumb fucking shabbos goy.
This is why i cycle on the sidewalk if there's no dedicated path i could take.
Looks unreal.
Anyway, cycling is fun. I use my mountain bike to ride.
Was ready to invest in a solid roadbike but covid hit and I haven't been riding that hard since. I kinda miss it but now I have a dog so all my free time is spend with her. /blog
Just like that, you are dead.
you're supposed to ride against the traffic, not with it.
Retard

thats how cherry tomatoes pop inside my mouth
If shit like this scares you from cycling, don't leave your house
Good thing he was wearing his helmet
Holy fuck, this is brutal. You couldn't pay me to ride a bike on a city street.
probably didn't feel a thing
At least he went out quickly
I've been hit by a car while cycling and that one second will feel like an eternity.
that bitch ran away instead of doing cpr
Shit like this makes me realize how fragile life is, one small mistake and you are done
>those 2 frames at 0:03 where you can clearly see part of his spine still attached to this head as the head is projected
I was thinking on getting new pedals and a helmet and biking to my new job but after this I'll take the fucking car. Saving a few € ain't worth lol
>I'll take the fucking car.
I guess you haven't seen any accident aftermaths?
Yes I've seen a few. But it's mostly because people are reckless. at least in a car I have a metal shield, which is wtv but then again I drive in a city so I'm never going super fast. 80kmh tops, and I'm very careful.

This is why I will never ever use a bike gutter fuck man
Is he ok now?
You all are pussies if you let this webm sway you into not riding. Probably shit cyclists, too.
Gnarly. This is why I take an extra 10 minutes to work on my commute just so I can take the separated bike lane and not cycle on the road
There's nothing inherently wrong with cycling, but it does seem to attract a lot of people with a poor sense of spatial awareness.
Exhibit A.

Maybe not
>posters complaining about sperm counts on this board knowing damn well they dont even use them.
Yes, it's fun exploring on a bicycle.
I've been on a bicycle tour or two, always worth the experience.

Any bike with gears and at least 28mm wide tires
32 or even 35 if you're fat
My bike (in
) is a basic upright commuter/shopping bike. It's not sold as an off-road bike, but there's no problem riding on firm ground like pictured with it. You just wouldn't want to ride it on mud, or do jumps with it.
Cool thanks guys! How much did you pay for yours? I'm a cheap skate so I'm trying to keep costs low
The one in
cost me £500 this March; though I was able to transfer things like mirror, lights and such from a previous bike.
I can't ride a bycicle, lol. Never learnt that.
