My brother in Christ I would recommend cutting, I am 180cm, 78kg and 20-25% bf, I am cutting to 70-72 then lean bulking to 30% bf.

i dont think you understand lean bulking, or are you really dedicating yourself to a years-long bulk and staying at unhealthy bf% for a long time?
With lean bulk I mean eating only 200-300 kcal over maintenance calories, I plan to do it for a year or so.
If you even remotely consider "bulking" for one second as you're above 15% BF you are ngmi and you will be a fat fuck all your life

Not OP but, how exactly does one cut? And don’t say lift and eat at a deficit, I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work for my body. What is a better way to cut fat only?

I unfortunately have thrifty metabolism so when I eat at a deficit my body shuts down to conserve fat. I could eat 1000kcal a day, and lift/run every day, for a year and I wouldn’t lose a single lb.
Well maybe the issue is that you shouldn't eat 1000 calories.

Tried this. Unfortunately it jacks up my cortisol which causes me to overeat on non fasting days. It is too extreme for me.
