Switch to DB flat bench, for me personally I felt it in my chest more

Yup. Start every push day by absolutely wrecking your fucking pecs with flies (cable/machine are best) before moving onto the pressing movements. Works wonders

Put spotter bars on a rack slightly above your maximum bench ROM and use them to do negatives at a very high weight.
