The reason I didn't tell you to cut or bulk is because I think people at an early stage of development get too hung up on these terms when they really just need to be lifting more weight, more often. I don't "cut" or "bulk," I just lift often and eat whatever I want.

New to deadlifting. I'm sure I could do more, but I'm working my way up slowly. Squats are starting to feel kinda heavy by my 5th set. Bench is starting to stall which makes sense compared to my other lifts. Hurt my neck doing OHP at first so I've only been going up 2.5 per lift.

I saw a barbell on the ground loaded up to 275 lbs (2x45lb plates and 1x25 plate on eithsr side of the bar). Since I had never deadlifted in my life I decided to try it. I banged out 10 easy reps then went back to work (easily could have done more. I was 6'0", 180 lbs at the time. You are literally weaker than an untrained ketoschizo (me)

Unironically do starting strength and build some muscle. After you've put on some mass you can divide your workouts into each particular muscle group and add more accessory exercises. Running wouldn't hurt either.

What lifts are you doing? If you're doing the most important ones and pushing yourself on the weight you will see results. Squats, deadlifts, bench press and military press should be the minimum. You're starting off from a big frame so you should be able to lift heavy fairly quickly.

New to deadlifting. I'm sure I could do more, but I'm working my way up slowly. Squats are starting to feel kinda heavy by my 5th set. Bench is starting to stall which makes sense compared to my other lifts. Hurt my neck doing OHP at first so I've only been going up 2.5 per lift.

I have deadlifted literally once in my life. I am an electrician and I did a job at a highschool gym. I saw a barbell on the ground loaded up to 275 lbs (2x45lb plates and 1x25 plate on eithsr side of the bar). Since I had never deadlifted in my life I decided to try it. I banged out 10 easy reps then went back to work (easily could have done more. I was 6'0", 180 lbs at the time. You are literally weaker than an untrained ketoschizo (me)

What lifts are you doing? If you're doing the most important ones and pushing yourself on the weight you will see results. Squats, deadlifts, bench press and military press should be the minimum. You're starting off from a big frame so you should be able to lift heavy fairly quickly.
