just do walk downs. assume the touching toes position and use your hands to walk yourself into a front plank position. then walk yourself back up feeling your legs stretch. you will have palms flat on the floor in days.
I couldn't do this my whole life. Then one day when I felt like my tight hamstrings were holding me back, I simply tried to touch my toes for like ~30 minutes past the point of pain until it happened. Probably not the best idea, but hey, it worked for me
I can't touch my toes and I want to so desperately. It is severely impeding me in my fitness goals. I feel like my hamstrings are short as fuck and it causes me to have lower back pain.
I was able to touch my toes after maybe a month of training, just bend down as far as you can until it hurts and hold for 10 seconds at the beginning of every workout
that doesnt work. tried doing it in the shower for almost 2 years in a row.
you want to know the best way to learn how to touch your toe? and it doesnt even hurt that much. sit against the wall with legs straight. try to get the L position as much as possible but if you cant yet thats fine. place your hands flat on the ground next to you. Now do single straight leg raises. only needs to be a few centimeter, as long as you feel the stretch. do this for each leg a few sets. you'll see massive improvement after a while
Does it really count if you round your back like that? I always assume people mean with your back straight. If I can round I can probably put my hands flat on the floor behind me
My friend told me he is unable to touch his toes and I thought he was joking. He has a manual labor job so it's not like he's sat in an office chair all day
I can get my palms flat on the floor and if I spread my legs and try I can almost do the Jack-O pose.
No is it bad if i cant
do RDLs. Light weight, high reps, 4 second eccentrics and you can touch your toes in a week.
Yes
Yes
Can I touch y'all's toes? Take off your shoes boy lemme squeeze dem toes huaheheh
sadly no, things need to really really bend in order for me to touch em'
How do I achieve this? Like what stretches, how long i do it for each session/day, and how long till I see results?
Just try touching your toes everyday for like 2 minutes

He's rounding the back.
His lower back is flat then he goes 45 degrees at bottom of ribcage.
If you call that a success then you might be disappointed.
Is it okay for your back to bend like that?
Yes, if I bend my knees.
Bending my knees is allowed, right?
Never been able to, and that includes highschool where I was a midteir long distance runner. 5'10 at 140 pounds.
without bending my knees I can both reach the back of my heels and do palms on the ground

OK thanks, I started doing this ~5 days ago before my lifts and after my runs. Wasn't sure if that was going to work.
Don't do this. You shouldn't do static stretches before a workout or you risk snapping your shit up. Do it after.
Maybe you have short arm sir
RDLs are your fren anon

Wut
i tense them a lot. idk, thats the only thing i can think of
Where my palms to floor bros at
I stretch to humiliate girls with my superior flexibility.
They tend to be proud about their comparative superior flexibility, even though it’s mostly genetic for them.
When I reveal my superior flexibility to them, it is clear they did not expect it.
They remain silent.
I cherish this moment. I do not ruin it with words, words just entangle. Instead I keep performing my most advanced stretching maneuvers.
How does it feel, woman, to get beaten at your own game?
incredibly based, they make me seethe when they beat me in stretches so easily
Yes
