Do you eat bread? Like a slice a day, or none at all?

Yeah, every night for dinner I usually eat a chicken breast sandwich (seasoned with flaxseed meal and black pepper) with green bell pepper slices, red onion slices, two grape tomatoes, a chopped clove of fresh garlic, and fresh basil and garlic leaves

Also a bit of olive oil and red wine vinegar.

I eat 2-5 slices a day(sometimes more). I eat 100% whole grain bread that doesn’t have goyslop shit though, even uses honey instead of corn syrup. I’m pretty fit and have solid numbers for a natty. Bread is great IMO, but you gotta avoid the shitty goyslop kind.

I fucking love bread sourdough, rye, French breads, bao, mantou, dinner rolls, pretzels
But I absolutely never feel satisfied from it. I always want more and it winds up giving my intestines some kind of candida overpopulation.

That isn’t the bread m8. bread and beer both use a different strain of yeast, S. cerevisiae, which is a beneficial microbe. You unironically may have some serious health problems, you should get tested for HIV and diabetes.

I have neither you pseud I didn't say the dead yeast from the bread was becoming living yeast in my intestines. Just simpler carbs like bread contribute to a imbalanced microbiome.

Candida overgrowth is not common, I usually only see it with hiv and diabetes patients. Unless you are a woman and it’s in your vagina, it’s usually a sign of non functioning immune system or high blood sugar. I’m not wanting to alarm you, but just saying getting some lab tests would be a good idea.

because both of those are more common than someone having to take a long course of antibiotics, steroids or alcohol? Your generation of nurses kill more people the opioids.

I didn’t know your history friend, if you have been on steroid meds or a long course of antibiotics that would put you at significantly increased risk of candida overgrowth. I assume most people here are generally healthy, and I don’t want one of my bros to be suffering from some disease without knowing it. Lab tests are useful for both patient and provider. If you have been on those meds it sounds like you need to bolster the fuck out of your microbiome again which can take some time. Trust me I hate the current healthcare system, it is loaded with pitfalls and I think most who work it are incompetent, and it scares me to think if I ever have to be a patient. I’ve been working in healthcare for 10 years and try my hardest to not be one of the shitty doctors or nurses everyone complains about. Like what I said before I didn’t want to alarm you, but I was just wanting to make sure you weren’t just writing it off as a normal occurrence as I’ve seen many here do with potentially serious shit.

I don't believe you. I think you're another pseud trying to get warm fuzzies from giving unsolicited medical advice on a lunar bass fishing forum.

You can believe what you want. You can look up all the shit I said it’s all accurate. I’m just one of the medfags on here that tries to look out for my bros.

I eat bread plain with nothing on it. No meat, no cheese, no butter, no cream cheese, no salmon, nothing, just bread.

I do now. It makes me a bit fatter temporarily but good energy source. Didn't eat any bread for like 2 weeks during elimination and barely anything changed, so added it back in recently

No grain. I eat tortillas that are made with almond flour. I used to constantly have diarrhea. Now I only get diarrhea if I don’t wait long enough to go running after eating
