>best workout for cardio
>great workout for legs in climbs and sprints
>able go and explore your local area instead of boring jogging around your house or swimming in a pool
>less pressure on your joints than jogging
>can feel the adreanaline at high speeds/steep technical declines
Have you taken the /bikepill/ yet IST?
Bikers are gays tho
Yes they are. The way they cycle hurts their balls and they become low test. You will be in shape but at the cost of loosing yourself and everybody who doesn’t also cycling having contempt for you on the road.
a lie perpetuated by fatties
Yeah and Mongolians were low T from sitting in a saddle all day everyday.
Retard
>The way they cycle hurts their balls
>t. fatty who has never ridden a road bike
How do I ride a bike without fucking up my balls? Are there special seats with holes in them?
dont sit on the soft part
Uhh where do I sit then? Do I remove the seat and insert the bar into my asshole?
>he isn't plugmaxxing
>t. rodraging landwhale
nah you are
No u are
>mtb pedals
disgusting
Lmao and he'd still outpace you on a hill
300 ftp chad here, doubt it
You don't even have a single KOM stop kidding yourself
>implying watts matter for climbing not w/kg
you aren't a cyclist
nothing to brag about unless you are <50 kg
>less pressure on your joints than jogging
Pain in my joints because I FUCKING USE THEM? Good.
Gravel has become my favorite activity and I'm never going back.
>once saw a biker cut off a dumptruck in a green-only intersection
>biggest gays to ever EVER exist on the road
You forgot the biggest drawback, anon
Don't worry you wont see me there, the only time I'm on the road is when I'm in the city driving to/from all the dirt/gravel roads in the countryside.
>man this one anecdote happened once.
I see drivers do worse things every single day.
Oh it's way fucking more than once
Took the bike pill starting in July and I've been loving it so far. Picked up a cheap hybrid bike on craigslist. I used to do boring cardio on treadmills at the gym but I love exploring the area around me and grabbing a pint after a solid ride. Is strava the best app to track your rides? Any point in going premium on the app? I was looking for local trails and paths other people do and strava seems to gatekeep it behind thier premium service.
Get Komoot, you will get your local map for free.
Get free strava and follow a bunch of people in your area. You'll get to see which routes they use. Eventually you'll get a premium trial offer - take it and access the premium stuff, then cancel the offer before you have to pay for premium. That's what I did and it let me get the most out of the app without paying anything.
Komoot really is great. Especially if you want to avoid traffic. It helped me discover plenty of new rides near a place i had been living for 20+ years.
>less pressure on your joints than jogging
Jogging literally strengthens your joints.
As someone who had knee pain since 8 years ago, I can say since I started jogging I have less knee pain.
same, i have arthritis in both knees that got really bad as I sat around all day.
Jogging every day has made the pain really go away
Imagine saying "I will exercise now" then sitting down for 2 hours.
Yes, it's so much fun brehs.
I ride downhill at suicide speeds in the mountains, absolute kino.
I love cycling myself but some cyclists really make me cringe. Whats up with the dudes who wear a professional teams kit? Why wear a Jumbo Visma and Alpecin kit as a nobody? Thats like playing football in the park in the Real Madrid or Bayern kit.. Thats something kids do.
Use it as motivation to smoke them on a climb. Depending on where you live they might actually be pros though. I see some from time to time.
100% not pro's, just some wannabe's. Its just pathetic and cringe
i bike everywhere but deny it if anyone asks
>bike squeak for weeks
>Wash bike
>Squeaking disappears
>beep beep truck
