Just do what I do: >Run under lukewarm water until dethawed >immediately throw them into a pan with butter (make sure the pan is big enough so they can all lay flat) >flip after 5 minutes, wait another 5 minutes until they're crispy >Add some panko or some shit and sauce, toss, eat right away
shrimp are low in dangerous heavy metal even when caught lol
they expensive nigga
glad I live in a coastal region. I can shrimp 3 times/year over baitballs and fill my freezer with shrimp. between shooting deer/turkey, shrimping, fishing, and crabbing, I get 99% of my protein for free
Shrimp are nice, but taste really bland unless you rely on sauce or butter/fats defeating the purpose to a point. I can eat grilled chicken straight without issues for similar macros.
unironically yeah. boiled shells are kinda soft so I stopped eating them but I used to eat them. Baked or fried shells have no reason not to be eaten though theyre like chips.
You wouldn't need to. Go to a farmers market, ask a booth owner to see their recent FDA/USDA inspection results. Restaurants that buy local produce genuinely don't give a shit unless their product can be reasonably assumed to be causing consistent and regular food poisoning instances.
Shrimp macros are good, and the price isn't terrible.
I've always had my own skepticism regarding their status as a good bodybuilding source of protein due to their nature of being low on the food chain and le sea bugz memes, but for real.
i got shrimp frozen and it said just to run them under water and eat and i dont know that i trust not getting a parasite
just boil them bro
gross they get tough

this also makes them smaller and easier to eat large quantities, nearly all of the volume lost is just water evaporating away
Obviously a parasite isn't gonna survive being frozen dude but yeah please learn elementary cooking skills
freezing doesn't kill everything
Presumably they're cooked shrimp, that's pretty common
Deep Freezing meats to below 25 degrees F for more than 2 weeks kills 99 percent of all parasites
yet most freezers only go to 0F or 10 below. Stores are even less.
they expensive nigga
Nah just find a hibachi buffet near you
Octopus and this are the shit. You can’t eat it all the time though or you’ll turn into a retard.
>nah just find a place where they sell food for more than in grocery stores
?!?!?!
YOU WILL EAT ZE WATER BUGS
Heavy metal toxicity
Only in caught fish, 90% of shrimp are farmed

>my time is free
Imagine being unemployed.
imagine not needing a job to sustain yourself
Shellfish is so low in the food chain, it's not an issue.
I don't eat the bugs
allergic to shellfish
>he doesn't eat the poop vein for added fiber

Cocktail sauce is pretty minimal. The whole cup in OP pic is only 200 calories
Hot sauce and lemon. You can find plenty of low cal sauces as well.
Are you dumb? Have you never cooked before?
They make "precooked" frozen shrimp for the shit in OP's pic. I wouldn't personally trust it and prefer my shrimp crispy anyways though.
Shrimp was bought and made fresh at a deli. Cope, seethe, dilate, etc
>you vil eat ze bugs
im just not going to
You do eat the shells too right SwoleShack?
unironically yeah. boiled shells are kinda soft so I stopped eating them but I used to eat them. Baked or fried shells have no reason not to be eaten though theyre like chips.
You want the insulin spike from all the lean protein? Or add some butter or coconut oil, and salt.
protein elicits hardly any insulin. Why would you ruin a perfectly good food with coconut oil? Some people here...
>not aquafarming shrimp for max financial and fitness gains
Ngmi
No way he's meeting FDA regulations.
That’s not really his problem except when he sells to restaurants.
You wouldn't need to. Go to a farmers market, ask a booth owner to see their recent FDA/USDA inspection results. Restaurants that buy local produce genuinely don't give a shit unless their product can be reasonably assumed to be causing consistent and regular food poisoning instances.
You're no fun at all
~~*they*~~ fear the indoor shrimp farmer
the smell is disgusting
>Eating seafriends

no mercy for ocean-dwellers

Pass
MAKE YOUR OWN SAUCE, bought shit are filled with toxins
I have high cholesterol, so my doctor told me not to eat shrimp too often.

>eating sea insects
i'm poor
Because 100g of shrimp is $4 on clearance or $5-6 normally.
this, also in my shithole (Venezuela) its fucking expensive, like $8 or $10 for 150g
If you're cutting and you're not counting the cals from the sauce then you're ngmi.
I can get chicken breast for 2.99/lb. Shrimp will cost me 9.99/lb. That said, I like shrimp and it's a nice way to change it up.
Because they are more than 3 times more expensive than chicken breast, even if they are more protein dense they offer less protein per $
