>as long as you only eat 1g per lb of bodyweight of protein/2g per kg you're good stop stressing about it!
>oh just eat 0.75g/lb that's all you need!
Who the fuck ONLY eats one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight as if it was just happenstance? Even 0.75? You aren't getting that much protein unless you are eating pounds of meat a day or tons of meat, greek yogurt, etc. It's almost impossible to have a normie diet and eat that much protein without using protein powder.
So why do "fitness experts" take it for granted how unlikely it is people are ACTUALLY eating 0.75g+ of protein per lb and tell people to stop worrying about it? You would be hard pressed to find anyone who has a diet with that much diet that doesn't take multiple scoops of protein powders per day.
>Who the fuck ONLY eats one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight as if it was just happenstance?
Look dude, my average dinner is spaghetti with around 250 gram chicken breast and 120 grams of wholegrain pasta, which is already around 70 grams of protein. That's one meal out of 4-6 I have per day. My morning pancakes with pb are like 40-50 usually, 2 skyrs with strawberries is 36. I think you can figure it out.
you are an atypical case
Your point is? Like you literally the opposite of the person that OP was talking about. The whole premise of the post was fitness experts giving advice to "people", the masses. Some autistic incel on SwoleShack isnt a good representation of the average gym goer.
The average dinner of a normie is a workplace lunch. Its gonna have like 30g of meat, some goyslop etc. maybe 25g of protein in total. Protein pancakes and skyr, another gymcel meal. A normie would have "high protein breakfast" and eat one (1) egg and drink some orange juice. Then an avocado bread with 0g protein.
Normies can eat shit. Take responsibility with your diet. If you are real about gaining mass, you'll find the money for more fuckin food. Pick up an extra shift, cut down on needless expenses. Fitness advice isnt for "the masses". The masses are dumb as fuck DYELs. Buy yourself chicken breast, some protien powder, and some dairy products. Cut out bullshit food you dont need.
>the average dinner of a normie is a workplace lunch.
Lets say thats true, a bag of chips (about 2$) a sandwhich (5$) and a drink (2$)
8 dollars for that, meanwhile a thing of 8 chicken legs from the store is about 5$, You are just lazy and not serious about getting big
What about dried onions beans?
Looks good to me, i dont care much about saturated fats as long as in the long run it doesnt go over 80% of the daily recommend intake
So what?
Just because most people eat like crap doesn't mean you should
do you need to spread out your protein intake? or can you consume them in large portions?
I think there's no consensus on that
It may be a little more optimal to spread it out if you can but the notion that it will be wasted if you don't is complete bullshit
It's really not that hard if you space it out and track it. Why do you want to get rid of powder anyway?
I was just thinking about this shit. It's madness.
If I could just plug in to a wall socket and recharge my battery I'd be happy, i hate thinking about all this shit.
Fit LARPERs are going to spew all their bullshit about how they eat 300g of protein a day. When I'm going hard on lifts I up my protein, but normally i consume around 130g-160g a day which for me is .5g/lb. You still gain muscle, you still gain performance, you still lose fat. For me 160g of protein is something like:
>Double serving kashi go lean w/ milk 30g
>6oz chicken breast, cheese, 3 eggs 70g
>whatever the wife makes for dinner 30-60g
If I want to do 260g which is 1g/lb for me, I would have to add at least double protein shake with milk and eat a little extra. I feel like shit when I do that so I only do it if I'm working out 2x a day.
It’s 1g/lb of LEAN body mass you fatty
I ate 1g/lb of my total weight and got some undesirable sides
>ammonia smelling sweat
>had to pee constantly
>increased body temperature
It stopped immediately when I lowered my intake.
>increased body temperature
I have this now that I try to eat >2000kcal and >70g protein for the first time in my life. It's great. Before I was always shivering
I think it's suppose to be lean body mass.
You guys aren't eating that much protein? It's easy to do. Add protein powder to your morning cereal. Burger for lunch, wash it down with a protein shake. After gym meal? Icecream with protein powder. Dinner is a light snack of a protein bar and a joint.
>burger
>6 oz angus
>24g protein
>450 calories mostly fat
Great way to get protein without blowing up your calories.
Protein powder is a supplement. I don't think you should stop eating real food
