Christian Bale disproves that theory by cycling through them. Yes, people have different bone structures, but they don’t all fit in these 3 neat boxes, and being super thin doesn’t mean you can’t get fat and vice versa
I’m 3 cm lower than him and 3kg heavier than his lowest but don’t look like a dying anorexic. Is that really how much he weighed? I would have guessed 50 max.
skeletal muscle cells are multinucleated. Why this is important is that it affects their capacity to remodel and gain mass. Even when you lose muscle mass if the additional nuclei are still in there you can gain it back much easier than someone who doesn't have such a high concentration. Of course also peds.
Everyone has different bone structures that will affect how they look at lower body fat percentages and muscle densities, but the fundamentals of how body fat and muscle work are still the same for everyone except in the case of extreme thyroid problems (and even then it’s not impossible for people with such issues to burn fat or build muscle). Somatypes are used to describe certain traits and combinations of traits regarding body shape, but they themselves aren’t actually templates or anything that our bodies are based on or deviate from, they’re simply terms used to describe the combination of traits that constitute said body type. You can have traits from all of them because they are arbitrarily made up categories we use purely for describing appearance.
Yes, but it's not defined types but rather a spektrum. There are people who can easily put on muscle, but also fat, there are people who can put on muscle without putting on fat and there are people who have a hard time putting on both muscle and fat, and everything in between. I'm pretty much an endomorph myself, I am naturally muscular and put on muscle easily, but I also get fat really easy.
yes and no.
It's not like there's just 3 but your bone structure/height are going play a large role how skinny or bulky you appear even untrained that's just relative limb length. I think "endomorph" could probably be explained away by torso length to hip ratio. It's all just skeletal dimensions calling one of them "naturally fat" is just some body positive slide cope.
>wide shoulders and narrow hips >put on both muscle and fat easily >also lose fat easily >sometimes not hungry at all, could basically go days without eating >sometimes ravenous and could easily demolish 5000kcals in a sitting
I'm a 6foot7 endomorph
You’re a big guy
Not real anon, at least not in the bullshit way people like to use it as hypercope

i wonder what this dudes bloodwork looks like. hes been like a dozen completely different dudes.
Yet somehow he was literally me each time
He really should have stayed at the machinist body

I still don't understand how his body changes are possible.
From 66kg to 90kg in the same year with mostly muscle wtf man.
For that amount of muscle, it has to be drugs, surely...
But also good discipline, knowledge of your own body and dedication

he's an ecto in all of the images
How did he lose 25 kgs in a year?
how indeed
Actually sick motivation, amazing
They are real, but it doesn't matter and shouldn't affect you training as hard as you could
Okay but the endomorph is the strongest of the three.

No, they are not and they refer to body structure and behaviour but dumb fucks like you think it's all about "genetics"
Yes. Somatotypes are a fucking spectrum and everyone on IST is too retarded to understand this.
100% bullshit and 100% how much you eat
yes and no.

i guess i'm all of them at the same time
somatotyping is old disproven quackery that was made popular and grossly misinterpreted by some dolt fitness magazine writer because clickbait
Mesomorph doesn't exist, the other two definitely do.
It's mostly about skeletal structure than anything. But there could be a genetic component to one's metabolism.
its more hormonal profile so somewhat yeah i assume
