do you like running and tracking your cardio improvement easily? if you don't, don't bother.
also you'll need a chest sensor to get accurate hr readings anyhow.
I like that it tracks steps and distances. It gives some general data about your performance which may or may not be accurate but it's cool to have. I got mine for free from work (being a good wage cuck) otherwise I would just wear a regular analog watch.
Just buy an Apple Watch everyone will laugh at you for having an unknown brand they’ll assume its cheap and youre poor. I bought the Apple Watch Ultra first gen and just say its gen 2
>Garmin is the top brand for anyone who actually gives a fuck about tracking workout data.
this. it blows Apple Watch out of the water so much it'st not even funny. it has insanely more features and everything is much more advanced and works better. the gps is precise within literally inches and the battery lasts a month instead of a day. my favorite feature is that it can automatically detect how many reps I did and reset the rest timer. it can even roughly detect what exercise I did and keeps a workout log.
Ok but youre a brokie
there are Garmin models more expensive than overpriced Apple crap and you actually get what you paid for lel

Apple watch shills always sound like arab teenagers
I got a Garmin Vivosmart 4, I just use it when I run because it automatically tracks my progress and stores it somewhere where I can readily access it. The step counter and overall fitness tracking is pretty cool, but the band gives me nasty rashes because in order for the blood ox reader to work effectively, it has to be always against the skin. So I use it sparingly.
Yeah, they're alright starting off for counting steps and using the heart BPM as a way to measure rest periods, but now I rarely wear my Apple Watch unless I'm going to be doing a lot of walking in an unknown area.
I live in the city, and I take the same route every day, so I already know approximately how many steps I will be taking. Plus, benching with the Apple Watch on always presses the crown of the watch, pausing my music, which is quite annoying.
It's usually the fat >people who have the most expensive smart watch to track their steps lmao.
I just bought Polar H10 to track my HR/calories and it works fine and it's easy to use.
>paying to give your daily movements and heart rate to a multinational company >whoah I did 15000 steps today, thats 700 more than yesterday! Neat!
no thank you. The tracking of stats is novel, it's not going take your physique to the next level. Your body isn't an exact computer
It seems retarded but having Apple Watch actually helped me push myself more. And having the data is kind of cool. It’s kind of rewarding to check and see “I exercised for two hours today”
It's always good to have something that reminds you to move your fat ass during the day. My apple watch and my huawei honor 6 do the this job pretty well.
They are only useful for walking and rooning . Anything else is a meme. My watch its supposed to count burpees reps but it does it like ass and counts whatever the fuck it wants. Walking and rooning stats are surprisingly accurate except the ocassional heart rate freakout of the watch
They're pretty inaccurate, most people I see wearing them aren't very active. You need a HR chest belt anyways if you want some actual trustworthy data.
Going by feel is way better than trusting inaccurate gadgets.
>Almost cultlike stuff
because it's that good. I will shill it for free forever, because I'm blown away by the actual features and I bought it at random because I didn't do research and just wanted a decent smart watch and it had sapphire glass, titanium frame, flashlight and gps
I'm trying to find something, wonder if you bros can help.

I don’t care if your Garmin Fenix 7 Pro costs as much as an entry-level Swiss shitter, if it’s not an Apple Watch everybody will think you’re broke
Apple watch shills always sound like arab teenagers
Who cares? I only wear it when I'm running and the only people I'm trying to impress (other runners) know exactly what it cost me.
Post hands.

Shits gay and for women. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a screen on my body. Wear a real watch or don’t wear one at all.

I prefer the trackers. Smaller, lighter, cheaper yet do almost the same
got one for running. stopped running and stopped using. It now just tells me my HR, how unfit i am and how much sleep im gettin

Yeah it's nice to be able to switch songs in my playlist without having to touch my phone in my gym bag too

Mostly just useful if you do cardio
My runner friends all use Garmins. Almost cultlike stuff.

How could people find wearing watches comfortable
Me personally I can't even wear a necklace or wristbands, let alone a ring
This Apple shill convinced me they're all shit.
