Depending on your body (maybe you have really thick legs, idk) and how far forward you lean, you're pushing 60-70% of bodyweight.
I don't know exactly how much a weighted vest affects this, but I'm guessing because it's weight on your torso that you're adding 70-80% of the weight of the vest.
You can test this experimentally with very little effort! Just do pushups with your hands on a weighing scales, and make a note of the load at the top & bottom of the movement.
I do the same but I use my bodyweight in feathers to reduce fatigue

Grim. I used to do bench (and decline bench kek) to near failure without a spotter, no safeties, and with clips on the bar. It definitely seems pretty stupid now that I know better. But I've also practiced the roll of shame a few times.
If you work with sub 2pl8 babby weights you never need a spotter, just don't put the clips on like a retard. Dumping the bar is quick, safe and easy. I go to failure basically every workout, sometimes multiple times.
