30 kg dumbbell fell on my foot from bench high. Not too much pain but I can feel something is not right (slight limping, shoe feel lil too tight). I know each body heals differently, but can I get est recovery period from someone who had something similar happened to them?
Veins because of leg day btw
Yeah no go to the doctor, my aunts foot got a crack in it just by a light brick falling from a sufficient height, 30kg is quite a lot
Probably just bruised. When the swelling goes down if it’s still not good to walk on then go get an xray
fell on my foot that's why you got dropped
I’m trying. What is the correct way of saying it?

I'm just messing, put an ice pack on it and see how it is in the morning
I dropped a 25lbs plate on my foot many years ago. I zoned out while I was stripping weight off my bench. I pulled a 45lbs plate off while there was still a 25 in front of it. The 25lbs plate fell directly on my foot. Hurt like hell for a few minutes but I shook it off and finished my workout. I thought I may of fuked something up because of the intense pain but it was fine, just sore for a couple days. The human foot is extremely tough and resilient.
youre good my friend, i had a similar injury and your toes might start to curl up involuntarily for a day or two as long as you dont have any broken bones you shouldnt worry, some swelling and the toe curling thing is normal just take a load off for a couple days if you can. wish u a speedy recovery king
You'll have to amputate it. Same happened to me but I have good genetics and it healed. I can tell you don't have good genes from your skin colour.
rude. also, check your privilege
just go to a doc...
>an american
alrighty then, carry on
I will tmrw do if it doesn't get any better
go to a doctor or are you an american?
You almost definitely broke something if it was 30kg for even like half a foot. Go get a cast and don't fuck around or you might end up with a long term disability.
That looks like a broken metatarsal to me, possibly even talus

Ohhh don't worry anon, it's nothing, really!
Just sit back down on the bench, continue your concentration curls and I-I'll tell you about Rich Piana.
same vibe
You fucking bastard, I see it
I never understood the cost-benefit of not having injuries like this checked out.
Best case scenario: You learn nothing major happened, you can carry on as normal without worries.
Worst case: You broke something, it heals incorrectly and off alignment, your foot is fucked forever now.
Is this the privilege of not living in a third world country (USA) and having access to 19th century medical imaging technology without going homeless?
