You don't wanna overload on protein either. Excess protein gets turned into glucose. Veggie fat is a good source of calories without the extra protein. Olives might be better than nuts (or olive oil dressing in a salad), I'm not against eating plants, as long as you don't do it in the same meals as animal products and do it in moderation.

I followed a diet similar to this from age 18 to 23. It did keep my bodyfat low, but eventually I started getting severe migraines and frequent palpitations, went in to see the doctor and I had impaired kidney function and LDL over 200, they basically said I need to eat normal or I was going to die in my 40s.
Switched to a mortgage balanced Mediterranean style diet with fish, olives, whole grains, fruits and vegetables and now I'm slightly less lean but I don't get the migraines, or palpitations, my blood work is better and I'm pooping better.
Really, med diet is the best for most people. If you're trying to live your life on like five foods and no vegetables, maybe it has some narrow benefit in certain areas like fat loss, but in the long term it isn't safe.
